We at Medicare Labs are proud to be the pioneering institution in providing diagnostic laboratory services in Palestine. Since the establishment of Medicare in 1995, we have come a long way in achieving leadership in this field, with our network now encompassing over 32 laboratories distributed across various governorates of the West Bank.

Our vision is centered on delivering high-quality medical services through a team that currently includes over 150 specialists in various fields of medical laboratory sciences, including histopathology, genetic testing, microbiology, and many others. Medicare relies on using the latest technologies to provide the needed laboratory services in Palestine while maintaining our leadership as an incubator for modern applications in health and laboratory sciences.

At Medicare Labs, we are committed to offering a comprehensive range of laboratory tests covering all branches of medical laboratory sciences. Our test list includes over laboratory 2200 tests and diagnostic procedures, addressing all the needs of physicians for accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.

This has enabled Medicare Labs to obtain the ISO 15189 accreditation as the first Palestinian laboratory to achieve this international recognition. Histopathology Services

Medicare provides a diverse set of advanced histopathological tests, five highly skilled medical histopathologists are in charge, supervising and carefully running every test, while simultaneously pursuing their academic responsibilities at different local Palestinian Medical Schools. In addition to regular histopathology diagnostic tests, immunohistochemistry and other markers are available at Medicare as well, to guarantee precise diagnosis delivered through detailed medical reports.

Molecular Biology and Genetic Applications

Medicare provides highly advanced genetics solutions, such as RT-PCR and HLA typing, Karyotyping test is an exciting new addition to the advanced diagnostic services at Medicare Labs. Now, you can take advantage of cutting-edge genetic technology to detect chromosomal abnormalities or genetic disorders. This advanced test provides precise diagnoses for conditions like Down syndrome and Turner syndrome, unlocking a world of optimal treatment options, and many sequencing applications. Results analysis of each test is supported by experts in the field, a genetic specialist and a Master degree holder in Molecular Biology. Genetic Consultations

At Medicare Labs, we are dedicated to offering advanced genetic consultation services tailored to meet the unique health needs of our patients. Our team of experienced genetic counselors and specialists is committed to providing comprehensive genetic assessments, personalized guidance, and support throughout your healthcare journey.

Leishmania Research Unit

In cooperation with Al-Quds University, this research unit was established at Medicare labs, with a purpose to diagnose and investigate Leishmania parasite infestations in Palestine. Several papers were published on this regional parasite.

Advanced Laboratory Tests

A group of unique advanced lab tests are available at Medicare Ramallah central branch. These tests include immunofluorescent tests, immunofixation, chromatography and rare diseases diagnostic tests that require special processing techniques.

Food Microbiology and Water Testing

Medicare offers tests to investigate the safety of food and water, in order to detect contamination, or to eliminate concerns regarding potential microbial contaminants. This service is available for individuals as well as restaurants and local dietary products manufacturers.

Hepatus Liver Imaging

is a non-invasive diagnostic tool available at Medicare Labs that is used to assess liver health. The Fibro Scan device measures liver stiffness and the degree of fibrosis (scarring) by emitting a series of painless ultrasound waves through the liver. The procedure is quick, usually taking around minutes, and provides immediate results.
